Everybody Movement & Well-Being

Inclusive Yoga in the Heart of the Community Muswell Hill

Community Classes

I have been teaching yoga, pilates and fitness classes in community spaces in Muswell Hill since 2001, and I still love the connected feeling you get from being together in a community space. My classes are inclusive and welcoming, and are based on the premise that group exercise should be accessible and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of physical fitness or exercise experience. My style of teaching is light-hearted and down to earth - I love to get people working hard, but to have a bit of fun too.

Join us at Wave Cafe

Wave Cafe offers a space for adults with and without disabilities to meet and socialise every Thursday in Muswell Hill, and I teach my EVERYBODY MOVEMENT & WELL-BEING class there every week 11-12pm.

This class is all about social inclusion, we sit in circle and enjoy a different theme each week, some simple easy stretches, a short dance section, and some chill out time too. Ideal for you if you want to connect with others, enjoy gentle exercise and alleviate stress and anxiety.

It’s a wonderful community offering delicious food and drinks in the cafe, plus arts activities and my Everybody Movement & Well-Being class too.

Everyone is also welcome to join the Community Mile Walk (The Mason Foundation) on Thursdays - we meet at the Wave Cafe at 12.00 and walk for a mile together, it’s a lovely chance to walk and talk, get fresh air, improve fitness, boost energy and mood, and connect with others.

There’s no need to book, everyone is welcome.

Charity Work

I have raised over £25,000 over the years for various charity events I have organised, including The Katie Piper Foundation, The North London Hospice, Keene (for children with physical disability), The Haven Breast Cancer charity, Deborah James’s Bowel Babe Fund, and several more.

I am always blown away by how very generous everyone is whenever I run an event, and love the feeling of connected community you get from events like this.
