About Jane

After enjoying exercise and sport all my life, I began working in the fitness industry in 1999 and I started JCW Fitness classes in Muswell Hill in 2002, realising that I wanted to set up fitness classes with a community and inclusive feel to them. I have lived in Muswell Hill for over 25 years with my husband and two teenage sons.

My philosophy and ethos for JCW Holistic Fitness is that group exercise should be accessible for everyone, that everyone should feel welcome, and that it should be enjoyable and sociable. You are supported, encouraged and motivated to reach your full potential. I aim to cultivate a sense of well-being, self esteem and positive achievement in everyone who joins my classes.

My own personal teaching style is light-hearted and friendly, but yet with an emphasis on working hard and maximising results. I use music in every class, and believe that music can really help to motivate and keep people going.

The first time Jane came onto my show, I knew she was special. She was so natural in front of a camera but also, her knowledge of health and fitness is excellent. But what really stands out is her genuine care about the people she advises and trains. She really wants to see you achieve your goals and pulls out all the stops to get you there. She’s very sweet, but don’t let that fool you. She can whip anyone into shape and is a great motivator! I just knew that she needed to be on my show regularly. LOVE her!
