YOGA

YOGA

This class is for you if: You are looking for a yoga class which will challenge your physically and perhaps take you to your edge, but will also be a comfort and nurturing practice too. I always have a theme for the class, and invite you to explore with me a part of the yoga philosophy linking to the theme. Yoga is about so much more than making shapes with our body, come and explore this with me on the mat.

What you will need: An open mind and heart, water bottle, comfortable layers of clothing and yoga mat. Classes done in bare feet.

YOGA

RESTORATIVE YOGA

This class is for you if: You are looking for a slower and less dynamic yoga class, to help you stretch out, gently strengthen and relax. Unlike a vinyasa class (which moves more quickly), this class is a sequence based on gentle slow movements, where poses are held for longer. Vikki  will help you to focus on the breath, and also use mindfulness techniques to allow the body and mind to gently let go.

What you will need: Water bottle, comfortable layers of clothing, yoga mat.  Classes done in bare feet.

YOGA

VINYASA FLOW YOGA

This class is for you if: You like your yoga class to be dynamic and energising, and to generate some heat and energy as well as have a lovely stretch too. There is a flowing sequence of movements which can be modified for all levels, with a mixture of standing, seated and lying poses. Ending with a relaxing savasana at the end.

I always add a theme to a class drawing on yoga philosophy, which I aim to make accessible and useful in modern life.

What you will need: Water bottle, comfortable layers of clothing and a yoga mat. Classes done in bare feet.

Location: At home online, and locally in real life around Muswell Hill.

PILATES

PILATES

This class is for you if: You would like to increase your core strength and flexibility in a light-hearted environment, with some fun tunes to keep us going along the way!

What you will need: Water bottle, comfortable layers of clothing and a pilates /yoga mat

PILATES

Ball & Weights

This class is for you if: You would like to take your core and strengthening work to a new level, and combine it with work with hand weights too. This class is a great all-round class, which will really target and improve your core strength and offer a chance to try something a bit different.

The class is more dynamic than mat-based pilates, with more upbeat music and more movement although there is still no jumping and it’s all low impact.

What you will need: A swiss stability ball (65cm), hand weights (usually either 3or 4kg set), water bottle, comfortable layers of clothing and we sometimes use a yoga mat. Some classes are done in are feet, and some in trainers.

DANCE

DANCE FIT & TONE

This class is for you if: You enjoy dance-based choreography, to raise the heart rate the fun way! Funky dance aerobics to burn fat and improve fitness, sometimes followed by toning and strengthening exercises using hand weights.

You don’t need to have any dance experience or skills, just a pair of trainers, a bottle of water and a smile!

What you will need: Water bottle, trainers, small towel.
