YOGA

YOGA

This class is for you if: You are looking for a class which combines mindfulness and relaxation with physical strength and flexibility. Yoga classes are always low impact which means no jumping, and they can vary from a dynamic flow to a more gentle static practice. See our instructor profiles to see which class might suit you best.

What you will need: Water bottle, comfortable layers of clothing and yoga mat. Classes done in bare feet.

YOGA

RESTORATIVE YOGA

This class is for you if: You are looking for a slower and less dynamic yoga class, to help you stretch out, gently strengthen and relax. Unlike a vinyasa class (which moves more quickly), this class is a sequence based on gentle slow movements, where poses are held for longer. There is a focus on the breath, and also mindfulness techniques to allow the body and mind to gently let go.

What you will need: Water bottle, comfortable layers of clothing, yoga mat.  Classes done in bare feet.

YOGA

VINYASA FLOW YOGA

This class is for you if: You like your yoga class to be dynamic and energising, and to generate some heat and energy as well as have a lovely stretch too. There is a flowing sequence of movements which can be modified for all levels, with a mixture of standing, seated and lying poses. Ending with a relaxing savasana at the end.

What you will need: Water bottle, comfortable layers of clothing and a yoga mat. Classes done in bare feet.

PILATES

PILATES

This class is for you if: You have suffered back pain or back injury in the past, and / or you need to improve your posture or core strength. Pilates is slow and controlled, and strengthens and tones the whole body.

What you will need: Water bottle, comfortable layers of clothing and a yoga mat  Classes done in bare feet.

PILATES

Ball & Weights

This class is for you if: You would like to take your core and strengthening work to a new level, and combine it with work with hand weights too. This class is a great all-round class, which will really target and improve your core strength and offer a chance to try something a bit different.

The class is more dynamic than mat-based pilates, with more upbeat music and more movement although there is still no jumping and it’s all low impact.

What you will need: A swiss stability ball (65cm), hand weights (usually either 3or 4kg set), water bottle, comfortable layers of clothing and we sometimes use a yoga mat. Some classes are done in are feet, and some in trainers.

ZUMBA

This class is for you if: You enjoy a dance-based workout and to get fit the fun way! Zumba classes include a mix of different types of music, from latin to jive, and pop to dance. The dance moves are simple and easy to follow, especially when you have done the routine a few times. The fun way to get fit and burn fat!

What you will need: Water bottle, trainers, small towel.

DANCE FIT & TONE

This class is for you if: You enjoy dance-based choreography, to raise the heart rate the fun way! Funky dance aerobics to burn fat and improve fitness, sometimes followed by toning and strengthening exercises using hand weights (provided). You don’t need to have any dance experience or skills, just a pair of trainers, a bottle of water and a smile!

What you will need: Water bottle, trainers, small towel.

This class is for you if: You want to really boost your fitness, burn fat and tone up, but you prefer no dance element to the class. In these classes you will raise your heart rate, use equipment and combine cardio work with mat-based core strength exercises. The ultimate all round workout!

This class is for you if: You love both yoga and working with hand weights! This class uniquely combines them both, fusing strength work with weights with yoga poses and flows.

What you will need: Water bottle, yoga mat (possibly blocks but not essential), and small towel.
